The team at SCS have recently attended two events for the Aviation sector, as part of the Emerald Aero Group (EAG).
The Emerald Aero Group, housing a cluster of Irish manufacturing companies in the aviation space, has been going from strength to strength, offering the group chances to build and sustain long-lasting partnerships, showcase reduced supply chain administration, enhance aerospace manufacturing export revenue, and harness business development opportunities to increase future growth potential.
This June, our SCS team had the opportunity to attend both the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) event in Hamburg, and the Paris Air Show as part of the EAG team:
AIRCRAFT INTERIORS EXPO (JUNE 6-8):
A must-attend event for the cabin interiors industry, the Aircraft Interiors Expo is a tasteful showcase of the latest trends in cabin products and services from the world’s leading suppliers. The event can also be an opportunity for airlines to meet with their current and potential suppliers – offering a unique chance to begin the innovation process in real-time.
As part of the AIX event, the Passenger Experience Conference (PEC) brought together a team of experts and visionaries from airlines, airframers, OEM suppliers, and design organisations to discuss the future of passenger experience – the next generation of aviation value streams.
PARIS AIR SHOW (JUNE 19-25):
The 54th edition of the Paris Air Show, held in Salon du Bourget, was an incredible exhibition – showcasing a much more positive outlook for the aviation industry post-Covid. The fast-recovering Indian travel market offered a boost to more established companies like Airbus and Boeing, while the new Saudi carrier Riyadhi Air touched down in style to make its mark – a whole two years ahead of the start of planned flights in 2025!
Overall, the event was a brilliant opportunity to discuss potential projects and innovations with clients and exhibitors alike. The show saw some brilliant deals brokered, highlighting an aviation market at its strongest in 35 years!
